Need help. Not pedal response, funky idle

Need help please. No luck with searches.

2001 boxster s 6 speed

Had the car up for a couple week to replace the high pressure power at hose, oil change and trans fluid change.

Had to remover the belt and intake tubes. Now I have no throttle response at all and the idle is inconsistent.

Any thoughts? I did the 1 min on,10 sec off and start, also disconnected the battery. I couldn't find anything unplugged or broken.

I was unsure of the vacuum line routing but think it's correct after reading up on diagrams.

I'm pulling codes for pedal signal and mad throttle position.

Go back and re-trace your work. It seems like the electrical plug going into the throttle body may not be plugged in or not in all the way.

I had the same symptoms and codes after replacing my o2 sensors and not unplugging the battery. Apparently I fried the DME. Bought a used one for $80 and got an ROW re-flash.

I double checked everything, and found that I had a small fire from the power steering leak.

The O2 sensor wiring was fried, the plastic had melted away and likely a short resulted. That could have fried the same.

I cut the airbox out and repaired the wiring. Cheap CAI on the way now I suppose.

Second, I'm 90% sure the maf is fried also. The jumpy idle went away after I unplugged the maf. Just ordered a new maf so we will see about that.

I see plenty of dme's on eBay. Where do you get the VIN coded? And is that pricey or a quick thing? You need the donor Vin right?

Thanks again!
