How bout raising the car off all 4 wheels and doing a cursory check of all suspension and bearing components for yourself. Shake all four wheels up down sideways for slop and do visual checks. Tire shops aren’t Boxster experts. Check halfshafts, any wheel bearing, bushing play.

Gonna do that - thanks. Just found out a friend of mine has a great garage with a lift!
