In reality, all that matters is the holes in the rotor line up with the lug bolt threads so you can thread in a lug bolt
I had that happen and I used a wheel hanger (temporary long straight bolt to help hold the wheel in place while you mount them) to line up the holes while I got the wheel on. Still not too hard without anything there, just have to be more deliberate.
