steved0x Registered User Join Date: Dec 2012 Location: FL Posts: 4,144	I went down this route when my axles (2000 S 6 speed) were venting liquified grease out the axle vent hole due to to heat. Ultimately I uninstalled the axles, cleaned out the old grease with Kerosene and the acetone, and repacked with Redline CV-2 grease and new axle boots, and have had no problems since. If your axles are not clicking and/or obviously ruined, just rebuilding your existing axles might be the best bet?
