Perhaps... as I believe that the heads are the same (externally) but the 3.4 heads have bigger valves.

I remember reading this on Len Hoffman website as I was planning to send him the heads of my 3.4 at the same time that was planning a rebuilt

However, hopefully someone with direct experience will chime in..

I am happy to see other forum members choosing the FVD Brombacher 'sound version' muffler.
I installed mine in 2010 and have worked with a few others on choosing this muffler (10/10ths, Por356,,,).
After 8 years I still love the sound and it still looks like new. I added Top Speed cat bypass pipes, which turns up the volume to the perfect level, reasonable at idle and around town, and pure Porsche flat 6 sound under acceleration. Reports are accurate, absolutely no drone, likely due to same outer case design as OEM muffler.
Rhonda may give a forum discount if you contact her before ordering.
(Installed with rear bumper in place)

Unfortunately winter has returned to MN so the Boxster probably won't be back out for a week or more.
After then I could try a sound clip, but no idea how to post it.

Winter, rain, blah blah... just man up, get the car out your heated garage and make it roar!!!

Okay, I got PSE and thought I’m done with exhaust but this Brombacher thingy is sticking in my mind!!!
