Just an update
Im almost at 4k miles everything is great. Car is running fantastic, no check engine light and I moved my boost gauge to under the radio and CD/holder. Its in the middle so for now. In the future gauges can be added to both sides.
This is another plate I made to house an additional two gauges. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...er/gauges1.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...ter/gauges.jpg |

ohioboxster,
great job on the SC install! Did you sell that boxster now? Why not keep it after all the work! |
Twin Turbo
I'm in the process of installing a twin turbo kit by Turbowerx.
Very excited about it. Should boost 6psi. Look forward to posting my experience on this. Also have to find time to take out old springs and install the Rufs. |
Pteam, Ohioboxster sold his car and doesn't frequent this list any longer. I guess he got bored with his car after he did all he could do to it. I rode in his car though, and it was FAST.
Gerardo, when you get your turbo installed, start a new thread and show pix, dyno info and your thoughts on owning a turbocharged boxster! |

Methanol Injection
pinzgo,
I have used methanol injection on several Mustang Cobras in the past; the injector should be placed after the supercharger (boost side). How much boost are you running, are your EGT’S high or you looking for a power adder. I would not recommend doing an aggressive Tune with methanol. If the system fails for any reason so goes the motor. Meth is a great cooling agent when running high boost (12psi +). Its protects your motor from detonation if you get bad gas. A 50/50 mix with meth & distilled water is a great mix. I hope this helps. |
pinzgo, you might want to get involved in this thread started by pk2

supercharger installation
I don't know where ohioboxster found his SC. The only one I've seen is from Imagineauto. Does anyone know of other sources?

Shoot me an e-mail, I'll send them to you mpaolino@neo.rr.com
I updated most of the pics in this thread, let me know if there is something in particular you want to see. |
The supercharger installation is a something installation that you can anticipate with enthusiasm because of the awesome power that will be added to your engine. You need to clean off the inside parts before attaching them.

I never take my car but did not install the 24 mm front and rear 19.5 mm, purchased from the shops in Seattle, Sunset, and the car corner flatter than before and have been a comfort compromise. I am sure that still active in control of their car is more accurate to ride.

I'm with you. Gibberish!

IMHO people that create / propogate spambots should be sent to Libya to serve in Ghadafi's army.
