Exclamation Cold Start Engine Noise/ Non Magnetic Flakes in Oil filter

Good Morning All,

I am new to this forum and Have a 1998 Porsche Boxster. I have an engine clatter / Rattle in the morning for about 20-30 seconds. Once the oil pressure builds, the noise quiets down to an HLA tick..

Yesterday, I switched oils from Mobil 1 synthetic 10w30 to 5w 40 (Liquimoly). The noise is quieter and for less time when sitting overnight.

I am thinking that the heavier oil is not bleeding down as much as the 10w30 and That
my timing chain tensioners as well as lifters are bleeding down.

I have some questions on this:

Is this non magnetic material due to chain tensioner shoe wear ?

Should The lash adjusters be replaced ?

should the sump plate be removed and checked for debris ?

Has anyone had experience with this ? If so, what repairs did you make ?

Thank
you,
