Burble
Does anyone have an exhaust that isn't much louder than stock, without any drone, but with the burble sound when decelerating?
Flames would be cool but not mandatory... |
I have the exhaust from TopSpeed along with the cat delete pipes. Make sure you also use the easy clamps intstead of the clamps that are supplied. Using the easy clamps eliminated my drone. I have had it 2 and 1/2 years and I honestly do not have any drone and I still grin when I get the burble:D When I first put the exhaust on, I did not like it at all. But others encouraged me to keep it on and let it break in. I did that and I am happy that I did. For the price, it can't be beat IMO.

Unless your new exhaust weighs about what the stock one weighs, drone is likely.

Reviving this old thread, because the 'burble' is what I'm after as well. Is there any modification to the existing stock exhaust that would add this?

A Fister moded muffler with sec cat delete pipes will do it.....but may be louder than what you want.....louder would seem to be a bi product of burble.
I have video files that give a good flavour......not sure what the correct protocol is for posting other than YouTube. |
Yes....Mine....
....FVD Brombacher "Sound Version" with secondary cat delete pipes.
No drone. Sounds like "LeMans" on the throttle. Very faint, yet audible, burble on deceleration. JUST enough sound. Will not satisfy the "Fast & The Furious" crowd, but PERFECT for a real world driver. |
