Are my wheel bearings bad?
 

I took of the rear axles and noticed some play in the hub/bearing area on both wheels. It seems like the axle was holding the bearing together tight. Does this mean the bearings are shot? They spin smooth without any noise.

its normal for you to find play with the axles out. Be very careful if you decide to push the car with the axles out as the caliper and the rotor assy is the only thing holding them in.
