Shifter cables and linkage
I'm surprised that there are so few people complaining about shifter linkage problems, so that makes me think that perhaps a lot of you have updated there cables and linkages?

Not me - still the same as when it left the factory in Jan 2001....

Well mine is a 1997 and they probably improved the system.

The link got a lilltle better after 2002 but you'll hear some one broke a cable occasionally.

Mine wouldn't go into gear unless I worked it through 6 down but magically fine now after sitting 7 months???????????
