What Fuel?
Ok so I will be picking up my first Porsche on Tuesday a 2002 Boxster S and I am wondering what petrol to put in it, Shell V-Power + or BP ultimate unleaded, to get the best out of the car?

I seriously doubt you will ever feel a difference between the two or any other brand. Get the highest octane available and enjoy.

You won't notice a difference. Depending on where I am, I've used 91 at Petro and 94 at Shell and never noticed a diff in terms of mileage or performance. So I typically go with the 91 as there is no ROI on the higher priced gas.
Lots of things to sweat about with these...gas is not one of them. |
Oh, and once you get her up and running, post a couple pics of her and introduce yourself.

you will notice a difference if you get bad gas. happened to me once from gas station that did very little buisness (older gas ) So always buy from busy stations. mine does well with shell 93 octane

My preference is Shell down here in FL. When I was driving from NC to FL and back over the last few years I would always fill up right before I departed FL. When I filled up at the Shell I could get to a certain milestone in SC. The one time I filled up at Walmart (Murphy gas?) I had to re-fill about 40 miles shy of my usual point.

Some Timco wisdom ?

I sense an oil or tire question coming... maybe both...
