PDK oil service
I have a 2003 Boxster S with 28,500 miles.
I have read that the PDK transmission holds 9 liters of oil, yet a service change requires only 3.5 liter replacement. I have no idea if the transmission service has been performed, but I suspect not. It works fine.
I have read cautions of mixing oils and refreshing only 1/3 of the oil seems off to me.
I am coming onto my 30K mile service and want the trans oil/filter changed. Is it the normal maintenance procedure to do a filter, gasket and 3.5 liter of oil or should I insist on a total flush and refill of 9 liters?
