Auxiliary Power

So I've managed to shoehorn a pyle double din Stereo/GPS /DVD player into the space previously occupied by the 2 "shelves" below the old radio on my 98 Boxster
Fits really well almost looks factory
photos on request

My issue is I can't find switched aux power (the first position on the ignition)
I have to have full ignition on to listen/watch right now
I looked at schematics and I think it is suppose to be the black/yellow but those wires are dead all the time?
All fuses are good
I'm thinking ignition switch??
any suggestions??
Thanks

If you remove your center console you will find (somewhere near the shift linkage) a 4 pin connecter that was used for cars that had the optional phone package. This will have 12v continuous and 12v switched power for you to tap into.
