OEM front bumpers?

What is the newest (both year and model) OEM front bumper that will fit a 1998 base 986? I am looking for a slightly more aggressive look. I have looked through a ton of after market bumpers the majority of which leave the front of the car looking cheap

The 996 bumpers will fit too. Minor variations on a theme.

The "upgrade" bumper from the 03 and 04 model year will bolt right on. The styling is different but whether it is better is a matter of personal preference.

I bought one thinking I would like it better and then decided I liked the original better. I've still got it if you're interested. As you're in Canada I could send it to you via Greyhound fairly cheaply. PM me if you want it. (It's silver, base model, with grill inserts)

I put a 986 S front on my 996... I really hated the 996 smiley face. Of course, I did have to add the RS vents.

Did you cut in the vents with an exacto?

Nah, just kidding. I laid out the pattern then turned it over to Body Shop Charlottesville, VA - Paint Perfections Unlimited, a local body shop. They always do great work.
