Should I be worried?
 

Just got the boxster a few weeks ago, in excellent condition, but I guess the engine was never cleaned, this oily residue has me wondering if I have a AOS situation going on, my cel light was on and I just changed my MAF sensor.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1405557912.jpg

Since you dont have any driveability problems, thats good. Pull the codes and post.

I would try removing the Rubber ducts that are oily and check for cracks or rips and leaks. When you put them back on, make sure they seal,properly.

Codes were 1128 and 1130, I cleaned the Maf sensor and the cel returned the next day, so I decided to put in a new sensor, I'll know by tomorrow if the problem is solved,
But yes I plan on cleaning the entire engine and checking for leaks as well.

The conventional wisdom is that 1128 and 1130 are symptoms of a vacuum leak. I was getting the codes almost weekly over the winter, and I checked all of the usual suspects: vacuum lines on the engine, as well as the AOS tube and the oil filler tube. No luck. I finally realized that the codes occurred within a day after refueling. I replaced the gas cap in April, and have had no codes since.

+1 on vacuum leak. If you are a DIY owner, this might be an opportunity to do a Throttle body/Plenum tube clean.
This would also let you examine closer for any damaged items that could cause a leak
