I put an exhaust off a 2003 S on my 2000 base and it was a straight bolt on mod!

In 2003 Porsche made a mod on the S exhaust that made it much more throaty without the resonence, I am very happy with it.

Got it off eBay for $200 with buy now.

I think the single is going to stay on mine - It's just a great design. I WOULD like to paint the black rubber bumpers on each side of the license plate however...or get paintable replacements. Anyone do this?

Do a search - I remember a few posts or threads on this and I also think someone on this board has offered to do it....

I changed my muffler out for a polished muffler off of a "S" model and love the looks. I also had my bumperette's painted. Rather than take the chance of being a labeled a poser, I just shaved the Boxster emblem altogether. I even changed the tail lights out for the 550 tail lights. Some think it's too much red, I don't really care. My car, my taste. The "S" muffler has an ever so slightly deeper sound to it that my stock muffler had. If you think that you'd like it better than what you've got, then you should change it out and not be concerned about other opinions. Your money, your car.....and what a car it is!
