high pitched squeal & 1115 & 1119 codes

My 2000 Boxster with 63000 miles suddenly started making a high pitched squealing noise. It seems to start when I am in 2nd or 3rd gear and take my foot off the gas. It mostly goes away when I accelerate. I ran the codes when I got home and it shows P1115 and P1119. Any thoughts? I'll definitely take it to my mechanic since I'm not a do it yourselfer, but I'd like to have an idea of what to expect. Also, is it safe to drive it 20 or so miles to get it to him? Many thanks for your advice!

Sounds like your AOS may be going bad. Search "AOS" for some simple tests to confirm & maybe repair yourself.
