Anyone ever use Durametric to bleed brakes on a Boxster with Traction Control?

My 2000S has Traction Control, so in the Bentley there is an additional step. it says once you finish bleeding the 4 corners, go back to the right rear tire, open the bleeder (I forget if it says a certain one), and then activate the Bleed option from the PTS2. There is an equivalent option in the Durametric 6, but it doesn't seem to do anything. In the Bentley it says you may not hear the pump at all wheels, but it only ever tells you to do it at the right rear wheel (for PSM it says only do it at the right front wheel)

Has anyone ever done this with Durametric and did it do anything? Or do most folks just skip this part. Or are there some steps you can do like go activate the ABS and then come back and do a brake flush/bleed.

Thanks

Steve

It is not necessary to activate either the TC or PSM (if so equipped) while bleeding the brakes. That step is only used if you have gotten air into the system control network. Even dealers do not do this step unless the system has major air in it.

Awesome, thank you!
