2000 986s tiptronic rear bearing sound

Hello to everyone.
I new to the forum but hope I can give others some advice as well as asking for some as I have been a mechanic for many years but only work on my own car now due to a back injury.
I have a 2000 3.2s tip
A couple of weeks ago I noticed what sounded like the o/s/r wheel bearing was on its way out. The noise could be heard above 38 MPH and increased with speed.
I have since replaced it along with new disks/pads, shoes while I was in there.
The n/s/r there was no play that I could feel at all but after road testing the noise is still there to my dismay.
Does anybody have any ideas as what could create this type of noise.
I am lucky enough to have a piwis system which shows no faults with the trip.

Thanks in advance

I should add that the car drives and performs as it should.
Gear change is normal both in auto and manual but that wheel bearing sort of noise is very worrying.
