Thanks so much for this, Jack! Your tip about jacking up the wheel carrier was just the trick I needed. It was great not having to unbolt all the control arms. Got the whole job done in about 8 hours. Now my 2000 S has four new boots and nice, new CV joint grease!

Will be tackling this myself soon.

"Inner" refers to the transmission side correct?

What parts do you recommend replacing while in there? (such as the metal axle cap thing, etc).
