Borla vs. M2 (CC) Cat-back Exhaust

Has anyone listened in person to both of these exhausts? I have conducted numerous searches and have been listening to several sound clips of both Borla and M2 (CC) cat-backs. They both sound very similar on the sound clips, however, I would appreciate anyone with first-hand experience with both to provide me with your feedback regarding how they compare in loudness, tone (one lower than the other?), drone, etc. Thanks.

The Borla is loud as hell with a generous portion of 3k drone. It's purely light weight racetrack quality and you will never meet sound requirements at Laguna Seca. Never heard the M2 but nearly all 2 can mufflers are drone city.

I have the Borla's on my my car. Yes, under load (up a hill in 2nd gear for example) there is quite a bit of 2.5k-3k drone. Normal driving, even spirited driving isn't terrible. I wouldn't classify it as "loud as hell", but it does let you know it's there.

Not super impressed with the build on the Bola's - attention to detail is missing. The fit was difficult, as it didn't line up very well with stock connection points. Definitely took some persuasion to get it to fit.

I've had it at Laguna Seca w/o a problem.

Considering that the Borla is at the top of my price range and that both have some drone, I think the M2 (CC) exhaust is the best option. Especially when it costs almost $500 less. Thanks for your feedback.
