Interested in installing Ceramic Pads, any input?

My brakes seem a little spongy and I plan on doing a fluid flush and pad replacement.

I'm pretty much sick of the brake dust on my wheels and I'm considering Ceramic pads which I have on my Cadillac. They perform well and do not emit any dust.

Anyone have experience with Ceramics and can recommend a decent brand?

I have a 2004 S Special Edition.

What kind of driving are you planning on doing
street
AX
track

I run different pads depending on what I am doing

For street and sometimes AX, I have been using PowerStop ceramics they stop on a dime and give 5 cents change.
They are fairly inexpensive, ~ $35 an axle on amazon

ENC RedStuff is also a great pad. You can spend a lot more $$ and not get any better performance

For track, I use otherpads

Ceramic pads will greatly reduce brake dust and most stop as well or better than the OEM pads. I used EBC Redstuff but there are many well known brands to choose from.

Thanks Jay,

Just using the Box as a daily driver right now, although I do live within striking distance of Sebring. I would re-evaluate the entire vehicle for track use, but not very likely with what I consider a somewhat collectible vehicle (although some may disagree).

I like your choice in pads, they look very good. Do you think I should also evaluate the rotors when I switch to Ceramic or is that a non-issue.
