Need more help please on Muffler remova
 

Removed rear bumper to get to exhaust. Simple to do really. BUT the heat shield is still very much in the way so reall don't have any idea what to do next? I assume I need to get all the heat shield out of the way or was this exercise just to give me a little more room to get to exhaust?

And what happens if I now remove the rear metal bumper? Will that mess with airbags or anything?
