Again, these are based on a number of fitments that I have experiment with personally, and fitment between vehicles can vary based on suspension set-up, tire size and application of use.
Just as another data point:

A 255 with an 8.5" wheel having proper offset will fit on the front (barely). A 245 on a 9" wheel again with proper offset will also fit. I am not sure if the 255 on a 9" wheel would work though.

The front to rear stagger needs to be adjusted based on how much front camber you can run. Otherwise you will have too much understeer or oversteer. The OP's 225 / 295 combo even if it would fit, would probably result in gross understeer even with lots of front negative camber.
