Boxster headlights

Hello Everyone...another newbie here with a question regarding the halogen headlights on my 2000 Boxster.

I bought this car last year, and the original owner had replaced the halogen bulbs in the headlights which in turn "burned" the lenses.

I have purchased a new set of headlights and want to eliminate the burning of the new lights, so my question is, which bulbs are correct to put in the headlights (I know H7)?
But what type / manufacturer is best to prevent burning the lenses again?
