oil light flashing but no leak and level normal

spongebob Registered User Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Sweden Posts: 117	This is the same behaviour as in the old mans Jaguar Mk2 Slowing down from highway causes the oil lamp to light up for a while, this is due to worn engine bearings and an old pump. In case of a Boxster it is most likely the sender, but before you know I would not recommend to drive a single second with a flashing oil pressure light, does not take long for a total disaster to happen if it is actually bad
