2000 Boxster Glass Roof?

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post. I have a question about my 2000 Boxster roof and I thought this would be a good place to ask!

I need to replace the roof on my 2000 Boxster due to the plastic window being torn. I have checked on the Internet and see that several sites offering replacement roofs with glass instead of plastic. The glass window is much smaller but I would prefer it to the plastic. I live in Las Vegas and the heat is brutal on cars. All the sites tell me it will work but I would like some feedback from someone who has tried this.

Has anyone tried to put on a roof with a glass window on a 2000 Boxster?
