Removing secondary air injection

I want to know if anyone knows if the European cars that do not run the secondary air injections have the vacuum canister that our cars do? I am in the process of removing my secondary air injection and I noticed that on my car there is a vacuum line that runs to the resentence flap in the crossover tube. My car is a 2002 Boxster S. Thank you everyone for your help.
