JMINMD923 Registered User Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: MARYLAND Posts: 113	engine swap Is it possible to swap out a 2.5L from a 97 986 and replace it with a 2.7L from a 2001 986? Will the immobilizer need to be replaced? Any other technical issues? Do I need to convert the car to egas or can I just use the throttle cable? __________________ John M
