Window not moveing down when door handle opened

Hi,
my pasanger door window barely moves when the door handles are opened so it catches the sill a little.
Also, I put the window down all the way and like to never got it back up(pulling up on it dose not help).
When I would raise it it would only come up about 3 inches and stop. I whent up and down several times and finaly it whent up make the most horrable noise all the way up.
Any one have any idear what that is?
I'm hopeing my warranty will cover it.

The computer keeps track of the position of the window when it's closed all the way. You may be able to do a search here or on other forums and find out how to reset that position. It has to do with disconnecting the battery, reconnecting it and resetting, I just don't remember the whole sequence.

There's also a switch in the door that controls the small downward movement to clear the top.

I just noticed in another post you have AllData DIY access. I think I got the reset instructions from there when I did it before.

I will take a look at Alldata for it.
I did talk with the dealer today. They say it's the regulator.
We shall see.

That's the "switch" I was referring to and could not remember its' name.

If you disconnect the battery, follow the AllData instructions on reconnecting and rebooting the computer.

Picked the car up this morning.
It was the window regulator. And the warranty paid 100% of the bill
The bad new's is I ran some some errands on the way home and discovered it was leaking coolant and temp was climbing a little at stop lights(just a little nothing to get alarmed about).
So, I brought the car right back.
The resivoir tank is cracked and one of the fan's is out. Tottal going to be like $1600. Warranty will not pay for the tank. Looks like their going to take care of the fan.

Yuck! Sorry to hear that. If you want to DIY the tank, you can get it done for about $300 in 3-4 hours.
