Window rattles when shutting the door?

Hi,

My drivers side window rattles when down and you close the door. Sounding very cheap. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks, Andrew.

I'm sure you've already thought of this: Take the door panel off and see if you can spot anything not connected right. Maybe some attachment in there is loose or has fallen off?

My passenger side does it. i took off the panel but didn't see anything obvious. My work-around is to raise the window ever so slightly and that stops it.

I'll have the door panel off at the weekend so will have a hunt then. :-)

Is the inner or outer felt missing from the top of the door?

Could be a waste of time. But, might as well give it a shot.

Well had a look today, it looks like the window stop is in the wrong position. As in the bottom of the two positions. Anybody know how you move it to the upper one? As it looks to be riveted in place. Also I fitted new silver door handles, but my new ones seem to have little lights in them. Is there a loom section that connects them to the puddle lights?

Mine does this both sides. Be interested to hear how easy it is to sort. Not convinced I can be arsed to take the door cards off, however!

Taking the door cards off was easy. ;-)
