Brake wear ?

hello everyone, i own a 99 boxster and just today i noticed that when i hit my brake pedal it takes time to come back up to where it starts and it feels less smooth to press on there is like a void of a couple of inches and then suddenly it brakes.
this started today since i drove it last night and it was perfect... what could be my problem?

It could be a couple of things, but first I would start with putting in new brake fluids.
