No brakes, booster/ vacuum line frozen?
 

Hi,

Since its freezing outside, my brake pedal is hard and there is little to no brakes,
booster is not working. So i took a hairdryer and warmed up the vacuumline where it goes into the brakebooster (checkvalve). after that brakes were fine again.
then later it froze up again same problem.
is this vacuum line a loose part? it goes from the booster into the front wing.
its about 50 cm long. or is the booster fozen up (moist?)

Water in the brake fluid froze....brake fluid absorbs water over time. Hygroscopic. Get a complete brake fluid flush and use Porsche approved fluid. Get the front trunk warmed up by letting the engine warm up to the point where the radiators are hot and perhaps the current fluid will melt enough for you to get to a mechanic. Maybe see what happens in the afternoon when the sun has warmed the car up. Drive safely.

brakefluid is changed 1 month ago...
and when i heat up the vacuum line on booster it brakes again..

You could have the vac line blown clear, moisture will collect over time.

did that today and water came out, blew it dry and now it brakes like hell again.
i saw there is some water in the booster, and rust.. so my booster is going down in time.

brakes went down again, vacuum valve in vaccuum line to booster keeps freezing up. ordered a new one, in the meanwhile i sprayed some sillicone spray in the valve, is better now. I hope the new vacuumline solves the problem..
