New Exhaust Question

Has anyone, after installing a new/high performance exhaust, had an issue with a warranty claim. Either from Porsche or after-market extended warranty? I'm thinking of an exhaust change but wonder if it would effect warranty.

Any issues?

Warranty? Your car is 10 years old... whatever kind of aftermkt warranty you think you possibly have will deny pretty much any substantive claim you file against it - LOL

That said, I have a Fabspeed system on my 997 and I've had a few warranty claims. None were exhaust related but none have been denied by my dealer (who sold & installed my exhaust for me) or PCNA. If you go w/ someone reputable like AWE, Fabspeed, etc. you should have no issues w/ a Porsche warranty (short of 'chipping it' or something along those lines).

On a 10 year old car w/ an aftermkt warranty you'll have troubles regardless if it's OEM, a reputable supplier or a cheap ebay knock off...

I may not have clearly articulated the question. I meant to ask - if anyone has had an aftermarket exhaust, and subsequently filed an engine or other claim (not exhaust related) and had any question or denial because of the modification. I'm certainly not worried about claims on the warranty currently as I haven't modified the car and keep all the maintenance current.
