loosing power, stumbles at high RPMS? Ideas?

My car has started loosing power and stumbling every now and then at higher RPMS. Sometimes it will start off with no power and then snaps back to normal. It seems like a fuel issue any ideas?

I had similar issues turned out to be Maf sensor and a couple of cracked coil packs after they were changed all was well again.

oh good so nothing expensive....sigh.

Was your car throwing a code? Mine is not which makes me think its fuel delivery and not the maf sensor or O2 sensor. Or thats at least what I keep telling myself.

No everything was totally normal the car just felt as though it was hesitating and stuttering (it was a strange feeling) when near to the red line, I thought it was fueling issues until I had it checked out at my local independent

Disconnect your MAF sensor and drive the car. If it runs better, replace the MAF.

Start with the basics: Fuel, air, spark.

Fuel pressure ok? Fuel pump.
Air mixture ok? MAF.
Spark ok? Plugs/Coil packs.

When was the fuel filter last replaced?

It sounds like an issue with a spark plug or coil.
