CV boot clamp
 

My CV joints are leaking grease right where the clamp holds the CV joint boot to the axle. The boot isn't cracked, the grease seems to be getting past the clamp.

My question is, can I just cut off the old clamp and use a screw type radiator hose clamp in its place?
