Wide Tires

What's the widest tire size you can safely fit on the boxster. I was thinking of getting new wheels.

285 is probably about right.....
I currently have 275 on the back and run without any trouble....
though my 235s in the front seem to rub slightly when I turn the wheel as far as it will go in either direction.

225's up front and 275's in the rear. Sounds like a winner.
