Nice Knobs, I mean Buttons !
I had been experiencing stinky buttons (radio buttons that is !) for quite awhile. Rather than pay Becker Radio the $30 plus dollars for a set of two cent knobs, I decided to follow Pedro's DIY repair . Wow, the buttons came out so well that a female passerby couldn't help but say to me "nice knobs" ! Naturally, I corrected her by saying that they were buttons not knobs.
Gracias Pedro !!

De nada, my friend...
Happy to help.
That stuff (Plasti-Dip) is great.
I've used it for all sorts of other coatings on the car.
It also comes in an aerosol that can be used to spray on a rubber bra on the car's front.
This "bra" will peel off later without leaving any residue or damaging the clearcoat.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Another satisfied customer of Pedro's fix. Knobs came out great, also used it to coat the cross lug wrench and security lug socket to prevent scratches to the wheels.

It's too bad that my grandmother did know about this Plasti-Dip stuff. Instead of putting a plastic cover over her sofa, she could have just dipped the whole thing !

When I grew up, it would have been the sofa, the rugs, lamp shades, etc. Sounds like we came from the same 'hood.
Ciao,
paul...
