Can I swap 01 S shocks for 97 base shocks?
 
I have a 97 base Boxster and would like to replace the shocks with a set of 01 S shocks with springs. Can I just swap them out. The 97 Shocks are beat.

if you are looking for a set and can wait unti the end of the month when my row m030 kit arrives let me know. from 2001 986s w/33k miles, weekend toy with no track events or winters.
