I've used both the K&N and BMC. K&N flat panel in the stock (and restrictive) airbox and now the BMC (because it came with it) with my EVO intake. Have never had a problem and will never go back to a paper filter. How much do I trust these types of filters? I have K&N's in all seven of my cars, Harley, both quads and the lawn mower.

@ Ekam...Manufactures don't use this type of filter because they're in the business of selling expendable parts. Can't make money if all you have to do is clean and reinstall.
