60K Dealer Maintenance?? Would you let a Porsche dealership do 60K on your Boxster? note: there are no reviews (good or bad) on the performance of said dealership. |

I'd do it myself and save a bundle and know it was done right. But that's just me... |

Depends on how much time you have on your hands, how much the dealer charges (usually too much) and how much money you have burning a hole in your pocket. The stuff involved isn't terribly difficult, and if you haven't done a lot of mechanical stuff, there's pretty good DIY material available, here and elsewhere. Another option: Have someone other than the stealership do it. Don't know where in Virginia you are, but you might check out: http://986forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9615&highlight=Find+local |

Ok, I left out some information: reason for the maintenance. I could definitely do the job myself. The problem is it won't show on a carfax and certified by a Porsche dealership. the car is for sale. Seems people want to see all the maintenance levels done before they buy. I don't trust a dealership. They could easily break something on purpose to cause major future damage. that was my concerns. I know they will charge un-godly amounts of $$ to do the damn easy job. |

Point for point, what is done on a 60K maint. ? Can anyone list it ? |
