11" Rears ... maybe ?

Greetings all,

I read somewhere that a Boxster guy was using 11" Rear wheels (Porsche OEM)
I'm would like to know what offset (I think 45) and or spacers ...Thanks

This topic has been discussed ad nauseam on this forum. Once again, regardless of spacers or offset, there is no way, no how that an 11 inch wheel will fit on a 986 boxster.

Yes, unless you punch out the wheel wells and add new ones like this:

The other issue is that 11x18" wheels weigh nearly twice as much as a stock 8.5 rear. This has a dramatic effect on performance. It is the simplest way to make a 3.2L Box S perform like a 2.5L Base Box.

+1. Not to mention, WHY would you ever feel the NEED to have an 11" wheel on a Boxster?? Even with my 400HP 3.8, I am "only" running a 10" wheel with 285/30 tire.
