how fast around a turn?

As I was test driving a used base model & approached the highway exit with posted suggested speed of 20 miles/hour, the sales person suggested that I take that exit at 55 miles. I think I did it slightly over 40 & the car handled really well. I've also noticed in my new car (17" wheels), that I can easily go 20 - 25 miles over the suggested miles around the turns. I wonder what other folks are doing when a turn with suggested "reduced speed" comes up.

When answering this question, you might also want to answer the equally important question:

How often do you want to buy new tires??

I find 3 times the suggested speed is where the fun and adrenalin kick in.

I am cool with 2 and 1/2 times the posted speed.

(Outrageous Velocity) ÷ (How Often You'll Want To Replace Your Brakes + Tires) = The Speed You'll Negotiate The Turn With.
