Catch can updates

I read awhile back a thread about a catch can to replace the AOS. I was just wondering if anyone knows for certain if this is a good Idea. I know jake said he was working on this and had it going in one of his test cars.

I am looking to replace the AOS soon and figured if I can eliminate it that would work too.

Also what are the pluses and minuses to using a catch-can instead of an AOS. Or is it a Win-win since you eliminate possible mode of failure and replace AOS in one fell swoop.

If the only problem is legality, I am interested in the process. Police here in Australia think they are smart by saying the engine is in the rear trunk of the boxster instead of the front one....

no issues w/ catch can other than legality. the basic concept is to remove the AOS tube from the throttle and route it to a catch can. the inlet at the throttle is then blocked off. i have seen a lot of boxster / cayman race cars like this.
