Rear Spoiler Question ?! PLEASE HELP !!!
It opens and closes automatically tied to the speed of the car. I think this is covered in the manual. You can also test the spoiler, again procedure is in manual.
Good luck! HI everyone ! I am a new user. I have got a 2003 Boxster s with carrera 18" wheels (photos soon) Ive got a question. How to open the rear spoiler in my porsche? Best regards. |
i know. But i want to open it or close when i want to. As in carrera . It is possible?
|
Yes, it's possible. You can buy a spoiler rocker switch and install it in your dash in one of the blank spaces... where the wires go is for someone else to post though. I woudn't know where to run it.

The car comes with a manual rocker switch on the left side of the footwell.

Not to rain on anyone's parade but to me, the "spoiler" is pretty disappointing.
The 911 spoiler actually looks pretty cool but the Box is, hmmm. Know what I mean? |
Yeah, I see what you mean. At least Porsche gave the later model cars more of shapely spoiler...the older ones look more like a flat board sticking out of the trunk. And it's functional compared to some other montrosities out there.

Here's a spoiler switch on Ebay if you want one:
