RandallNeighbour Registered User Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Houston, Texas Posts: 7,243	DME reprogramming Before I get my hopes up about swapping my motor for a 3.4 one day, I want to figure out if my very early 97 boxster's DME can be reprogrammed or not. I read where some of the earliest Boxsters sold do not have DME's that can be reprogrammed, making a Porsche 3.4 motor swap difficult and far more expensive. Does anyone know how to check this against a database of DME serial numbers or part numbers?
