I know that I am comming into this discusion a little late but guys, reallly, if it only smokes going up hill, then it cant be coolant. coolant is constantly at the same press according to your running temp.
Is it possible you or your bright mechanic overfilled the OIL you should be slightly under the top fill mark!
And if thats not it then it something in the AOS, maybe you need to replace the line to your left cyl head
