Techno Torque 99 Boxster 2.5L

Jaay has done some great testing on the techno torque 2. If you've installed the techno torque in a 986 2.5L engine can you please tell me your results? Qualitative or quantitative is fine, just looking for opinions. Thanks!

Definitely worth doing!

I installed a technoTorque in my '99 2.5L and it was definitely a worthwhile mod. Nothing but butt-dyno results, however, I could certainly feel the difference - especially lower end once DME learned the new airflow (about 30-40miles).

In full disclosure, I have no reason to make myself feel good for saying it improved the car b/c I won mine as a door prize from BRBS LY. I planned to clean my TB anyhow so even the labor I put in was accounted for. Total install time including a good TB cleaning would be 1.5hrs taking your time.

Go for it, you'll be pleased

:)
