Welcome to the board.
As for bolt on that won't void warranty, a nicely done remapped ECU will not void warranty. DMS in Chicago(near the Exchange) does a great job of keeping factory warranty of their cars.

With all due respect, the service dept of your local dealer is a much better resource for this question than us folks!

Welcome aboard!

unfortunately, bolt-on performance is not available at any sort of reasonable price and is hardly available at ANY price. I had a 96 impala SS, and my headers, exhaust, intake and chip cost me @ $1200 and net'd me @ 40 hp.

from what i have been reading, headers alone will cost you that much on a boxster -- if not more -- and here is the catch.... it is little, if any, gain in HP. furthermore, from the dyno charts i have seen, this is usually at a cost of torque along the curve somewhere. Most of the people who seem to want an exhaust here are looking to change the tone of the exhaust -- and in some cases, they actually GIVE UP HP to get it.

as for the "money is no object" realm, i would say that the only REAL HP gains are availble with a turbo, a supercharger, nitrous or an engine swap. everything else will take thousands upon thousands of dollars for relatively little gain.

just my opinion. :D
