I bought my smoked 3rd brake light on Ebay from a seller called sportscarextras for $90/free shipping. There are a few people who sell them. It was plug and play for me. I have heard that sometimes you need to cut/swap the wires due to a polarity issue, but it is very uncommon. Below is a link:
